Residential Rebates and Incentives
As an encouragement to Go Solar, California initiated the California Solar Initiative. Rebates are available to qualified homeowners and are dependent on a number of factors: your location, how much sun your solar system will receive, what power company you have service with. Rebates decrease over time as more and more residential customers recognize the benefits of solar.

Rebates come in two forms: an upfront rebate based upon the expected performance of your system. In most instances Pure Energy Solar will credit you for the rebate upfront and charge you the net amount. In other words, we will wait for the rebate, so you don’t have to. The other form of rebate is paid over five years and is paid based on actual production. Most all residential customers elect the upfront rebate.
Federal tax credits are also available. The US government offers a one-time 30 percent investment tax credit for qualified residential solar systems. This is a dollar for dollar reduction in federal income tax and can be used over a two year period. Consult your tax accountant on how best to take advantage of this.
